Thomas Pickett LLB - Non-executive Chairman
Mr Pickett is a qualified Lawyer. His hands on work experience within the mining industry commenced in 1990 whilst working as a cadet metallurgist with ASX listed Diversified Mineral Resources N.L. in Cloncurry and hands on duties continued with Kaldig’s mining operations including their underground and CIP production plant at Cloncurry.
He joined the board of CuDeco Ltd in 2002 as a director and was involved in all aspects of the company’s operations including on site and compliance including guidance and management of litigation, implementation of policies and procedures surrounding mine planning. Thomas has remained as in-house counsel for CuDeco Ltd up until 2009.
In addition to his previous and ongoing experience within the mining industry Mr Pickett’s experience also included a role as Chief of Staff for MFS these duties included being a member of the management committee, disposition of non-core assets, management of special projects and liaison with some government agencies.
Lewis Tay B.App.Sc., Grad.Dip. App.F. - Managing Director
Mr Tay received a Bachelor of Applied Science in 1991 and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance in 2007. He has being actively involved in commodity trading and equity investment in the mining and resource industry over the last 20 years, during these period, he has established useful business relationships with various large Chinese state owned enterprises and many professional investors . In October 2007, Mr. Tay was responsible for restructuring the Board of Dynasty Metals, and changed the exploration focus to iron ore.
Bin Wang - Non-executive Director
Mr Wang is resident in China and holds a Master Degree of International Finance & Business Management.
Mr. Wang had been involved at a Company Secretary level and successfully listed the Xinhuajin (stock code: 600735) in China since 2006. The case was rewarded as one of the top ten case studies of merging and acquisition by the China Securities Commission in 2007. While serving on the Board of Yanhuangwuliu (Stock code 000805) since 2009, he contributed valuable inputs to the asset restructuring during the period.
Mr Wang has also worked for Shanghai Hywood Capital Co., Ltd as CEO and Shanghai Gosun Venture Capital Fund as General Partner.
Mr Wang has a wealth of experiences from working in the finance, acquisition and derivative investment in China, as well as extensive ability of funding and resource integration, he has solid relationship and association with various public companies and government authorities in China.
Mr Michael van Uffelen B.Com CA – CFO and Company Secretary
Mr van Uffelen holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Australia and is a Chartered Accountant. He has more than 23 years accounting and finance experience gained with major accounting firms, investment banks and public companies, both in Australia and internationally. He is currently runs a specialty consulting firm providing CFO, company secretarial and corporate finance services and is a director of an entity licensed to provide investment advice in Australia.
In addition to his role with Dynasty, Mr van Uffelen is the Chief Financial Officer of Automotive Technology Group Limited.
